Camso showcases new Solideal RES Series of forklift tires at LogiMAT 2017

Magog, Québec, March 10, 2017 – Camso, formerly Camoplast Solideal, will introduce its new Solideal forklift tire line-up at LogiMAT in Stuttgart, Germany, from March 14th to 16th.

The new Solideal RES Series consists of three enhanced forklift tires – the Solideal RES 660 Xtreme, the Solideal RES 550 Magnum and the Solideal RES 330. These resilient tires, manufactured by Camso, are engineered for superior performance in any material handling challenge and for all types of forklift usage intensities. From seaport to airport and beyond, the new Solideal RES Series is designed to provide the lowest operating cost solution no matter the intensity of the application.

“We understand the importance of fleet efficiency and lower operating costs,” explains Erick Bellefleur, Product Line Executive Director – Material Handling, at Camso. “Our new industry-leading Solideal RES Series tires provide maximum lifespan so fleet managers can optimize their investment.”

Camso developed a Solideal RES tire for varying degrees of forklift usage intensity, because they believe to ensure productivity, you need to match the tire to the application in question:

  • The Solideal RES 660 Xtreme Series is especially designed for high intensity applications with long runs, heavy lifting and minimal forklift idle time. Its wide tread profile increases lateral load stability, while a cool running rubber compound offers low energy consumption. A continuous center lug reduces vibration and heat build-up.
  • The Solideal RES 550 Magnum Series is the tire of choice for medium intensity applications. Its wide profile and flat footprint increases stability and grip. Large tread blocks and deep lugs maximize traction on rough surfaces and cool running rubber compounds keep energy consumption low.
  • The Solideal RES 330 is engineered for low intensity applications. Its aggressive deep tread design delivers excellent traction and stability. The tire’s well balanced rubber compound offers the lowest operating cost.

“With the Solideal RES Series, Camso continues to solidify its position as the industry leader for material handling tire solutions and the number one choice of OEM partners worldwide,” concludes Bellefleur.
