Camso, formerly Camoplast Solideal, continues to deliver on its Road Free promise. Two announcements from Arctic Cat and Yamaha confirmed it at Hay Days on September 12 and 13.

Arctic Cat wowed Powersports enthusiasts by unveiling a new prototype for a ground-up snow bike featuring a Camso undercarriage system, track and skis. This is a strong affirmation of Camso's OEM-driven philosophy and confirms its drive to be the best partner. It also demonstrates how years of R&D and manufacturing agility provide the speed and expertise to support OEMs in their product development cycles.

“Because we focus 100% of our effort on overcoming off-the-road mobility challenges, we truly believe that we’re a natural choice for OEMs in helping to bring new products and services to the industry,” explains Bruce Dashnaw, Sales & Marketing Director – Powersports at Camso. At Hay Days, Camso toured the site and interviewed some of its clients on what it was like to partner with them.

Being the best partner also implies meeting the needs of independent distributors and Original Equipment Aftermarket clients (OEAs). Yamaha Motor USA announced at Hay Days its intent to distribute the Camoplast T4S track systems for selected ATV/UTV models via its OEA network. “We are delighted with this distribution opportunity,” says Dashnaw. Yamaha had a number of Camoplast T4S track systems on display at Hay Days. Hay Days was also the first time the company showed off its new Road Free brand at a public Powersports event. “Camoplast is becoming Camso. It was important for us to communicate that although we have changed the name of our company, we remain the same group of authentic and passionate Powersports enthusiasts committed to delivering off-the-road mobility solutions,” explains Dashnaw. While on site at Hay Days, the team produced a short video about what it means to be Road Free.
