Product Recall

CAMSO DTS 129 – Brake rotor assembly bolts

Camso is issuing a voluntary product recall on all 2018 Camso DTS 129 models manufactured from August 28, 2017, to April 16, 2018, due to a potential problem with some brake rotor assembly bolts that may not have been tightened adequately.

A possibility exists that these bolts may become loose, thereby reducing the braking system’s power and lengthening stopping distances.

Owners of the Camso DTS 129 MY18 should bring their system to their closest authorized Camso dealer to take recall action on this issue. You can also call the Camso technical support and service department at +1 (866) 533‑0008 or refer to the Service Bulletin for further details.

See the recall information on U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission and on Transport Canada websites.

CAMSO DTS 129 – Ice forming on the brake rotor

Camso is issuing a voluntary product recall on all MY’17 Camso DTS 129 models manufactured from August 31, 2016 to July 06, 2017 due to a potential problem that may arise with ice forming on the brake rotor.

Ice built up on the rotor could lead to the breakage of the pin that secures the brake pads in the brake caliper. If such an incident were to occur, the result could lengthen the stopping distance of a vehicle.

Owners of the Camso MY’17 DTS 129 should bring the system to their closest authorized Camso dealer to take recall action on this issue or call the Camso technical support and service department at +1 (866) 533‑0008 for further details.
