Camso announces five new languages for camso.co in effort to better support international client base

Magog, QC, June 4, 2019 – Camso today announced the official launch of its website camso.co in three new languages: Italian, Spanish and Russian, with Polish and Dutch versions to be released by the end of June.

Adding five new languages to camso.co is part of the company’s broader strategy to better serve its clients, in this case, according to their regional needs. Up until now, the website has been available in English, French and German. Once the project is completed, the website will be available in eight languages in total.

“As a global provider of tires, tracks and track systems, it is important we provide our distribution network with the tools to effectively educate the market on the best product to overcome any off-the-road mobility challenge,” says Derek Bradeen, Brand, Communications and Global Marketing Executive Director at Camso.

A digital landscape that meets industry-specific needs

With distributors spread out in over 100 countries, Camso wants to ensure that clients from each segment easily find what they’re looking for when navigating on its website. After a thorough market analysis that started by looking at Camso’s commercial languages and countries where it sees potential for growth, the digital team chose to translate content into Italian, Spanish, Russian, Polish and Dutch for:

  • - Agriculture
    • Rubber tracks, conversion track systems, trailed track systems, wheels, remanufactured tracks and wheels
  • - Construction
    • Radial, bias and press-on tires, tracks, OTT tracks
  • - Material handling
    • Industrial pneumatic, resilient and press-on tires

Camso’s Solideal on-site service website will also be made available in the same languages in June. Furthermore, the Camso Connect platform just got a makeover: the market, sales and learning intelligence online tool has been available in eight languages for dealers, distributors and sales teams since 2014.

Translating these websites is part of Camso’s broader SEO strategy, from appearing in search engines for specific keywords or for targeted organic and paid campaigns, to improving its worldwide website indexation.

“In our fast-paced world, users have become more dependent on digital sources like Google search, combined with more traditional tools, to find product information,” adds Bradeen. “When they’re on the web searching for answers, we want Camso to become the number one reference for their off-the-road needs, no matter where they are or what their search language is.”

Translating most content, but not everything

The majority of Camso’s website has been translated, but it was a business choice to have some sections, like Powersports, and older articles in the content room and press room only available in Camso’s two official languages. All new area-sensitive press releases and articles will be available in relevant languages.
